A few late cards

Gina K designs has a lot of fun stamps but I just loved these owls.  I had a good time coloring them.  I used Koh-i-noor colored pencils (which you can also purchase from Gina), some DP from the dollar store, and SU's CS in vary vanilla, close to cocoa, old olive, and bravo burgundy.

This next one was some notes I sent to friends.  The colors and layout I got from SU.  CS- real red, tempting turquoise, only
orange and garden green.  The snail and fly background is from Close to my Heart.

Been trying to decide what will be my Christmas cards this year.
I feel so behind.  Last year they were all done by August.  So this is bad I dont even know what I want to do.  :)  The CS is SU's night of navy, bashful blue, whisper white, and pretty in pink.  The stamps are So Many Scallops and The World Over.  I colored the snow men matching colors and added some liquid applique for snow.  I embossed the scallops in white and the snowflake is glittery clear on a pop dot.  The light blue paper with snowflakes is from a kit unknown.

Another cake

Friend of mine has finally had her long awaited baby.  So this is the cake I whipped up for her.  :)  This was a week ago but I'm just now gettin to post.  :)

ATG Fun

Okay this is what I got in the mail today.  I was so excited to play with it.  While at CKC I found a company that was selling these ATG tape guns.  It holds way more than my Tombo and the refills were around the same price (with almost 3x as much in them).  This seemed such a good investment but $81.00 was more than I wanted to spend at the time.  I looked up the company latter when I got home and discovered that you can order colors as well.  So I was glad I hadn't purchased one while at CKC.  The price was still a bit high.  So I started lookin around on line and low and behold I found a company that sells them for $41.00.  Yeehaw I was sold!  No fun colors but I thought I could play.  So here is my new and improved tape gun.....

Isn't that fun?  hehehe  Flowers, butterfly and my name is rub ons from Stampin Up.

Blog Candy!!!

This will be my Thank You card.  I'll send it to the center.
No not mine :)    But on Cammie's.    This woman is awesome.  She has a new stamp out at Gina K Designs called Whimsical Autumn.  Which she is donating 100% of the proceeds to the Alzheimer's Foundation.  This is such a tragic disease, and every 72 seconds another person develops Alzheimer's.  So go check out all the totally cool things you could win by making and sending a thank you card to an Alzheimer care giver.  If you don't know anyone she has an address to the care center her grandmother was at.  You have untill  Friday, September 26 at @ 8 PM (central time) (Her GRANDMOTHER's BIRTHDAY).

Witchy cat

Found this cutie at my LSS.   Both are from Inkadinkado but the sentiment (embossed in black) is from last year.  Added some orange, dark blue, black diamond (in center of stars), diamond stickles, and some only orange ink from SU.  CS is wild wasabi, lovely lilac, B. black, wishper white.  The DP is ?????  I've had it for a while.  Got my inspiration from this card at Splitcoaststampers.

Birdie and flowers

I found these birds (Birds Galore) from Inkadinkado and just thought they were pretty.  When I got them home I was a bit stumped as to what card to make with them.  hehe  So I looked around on the net and found this one.  It is so pretty I just had to case it.  I changed the paper to SU's Afternoon tea, CS is chocolate chip, soft sky, and groovy guava.  Inks match paper.  Used CTMH's bitty flowers from the summer posies pack and dabbed them with groovy guava ink.  Then added gems I got at the dollar store awhile back.  Lastly I stippled close to cocoa on the very vanilla.

Challenge VSSEP08

So I found this challenge last night and I really wanted to do it.  :)  So that's what I've been doing all morning.  Have to go do laundry in a bit but this is way more fun!  I used SU's Apple Cider DP, matching ink and paper.  Was a good to stretch of my creativity.
Cards 2 and 3.  These 2 I found the easiest to do.  I used CTMH's Autumn Splendor (leaves) and Autumn Harvest (pumpkins and leaf) from SU.  I used the rock and roll technique for the leaves then covered them with Liquid glass.  The pumpkins were water colored and the leaf is on a pop dot.
Number 1 and 4 were the hardest for me.    The pumpkins on #1 is from INKADINKADO.  I water colored them and popped the middle pumpkin with pop dots.  The next is SU's Smorgasborders form way back and the saying "give thanks" is from Fancy Flexible Phrases.  I embossed the acorn branch and added primas.  Thanks for stoppin by.
