Fishy Friends Scraps

For todays limited supply challenge LSC165 we are to:
1. Make a square card. (Any size)
2. Use only scrap pieces of paper. (The base card doesn't have to be a scrap.)
3. Use ribbon or fiber scraps.
4. Use only ONE other embellishment.
5. Use any colors, stamps, and tools.

Well my DD has a party for a 4yr old boy tomorrow.
It's a underwater theme so Fishy Friends came to mind.  No ribbon but fake stitching:)
CS is SU's brilliant blue, real red, the lt. blue ??, pattern is Imaginisce-Let's pretend
Used Yoyo yellow,Brilliant Blue, & Glorious Green markers, liquid glass, stickles, lt. blue brads, dimensionals and Hot off the Press's Stitches in craft white

This came together quickly.  I had to salvage some scraps from the scrap bin since I usually give them to my girls to create with.

Butterflies CC163 and FS63

I've been wanting to make a butterfly card using Butterfly of Happiness. Well that didn't happen here either. :) This is an unknown SU butterfly stamp my demonstrator gave me.

I rolled the butterfly in Pretty in Pink then in Regal Rose. Hope it still works for the color challenge. Added stickles on the wings and rolled them around a pencil. There is also celery ribbon hiding under the butterfly panel. This is for our featured stamper challenge. I chose Silke's card here.

I changed the stamps used, sentiment, colors and size of card.

The color challenge CC163 was for Certainly celery (I used CS from Just Delightful), Pretty in pink and Chocolate chip.  I stamped the butterflies first in PP then on another piece of WW stamped again using the rolling tecnique.  I cut the latter ones out and rolled the wings around a pencil.  Then I touched them up with some stickles.  Thanks for dropping by

Time well spent birthday

Glad ya stopped by today!  I used the color challenge at K. Werners blog #4.  I liked the colors but added a few.  Also used the sketch for SCS 171.  More challenging than I thought it would be.  I think I like how it turned out.  :)

attachment.php.jpg

The colors for the challenge where:  very vanilla, tempting turquorse, taken w/ teal, old olive, chocolate chip, and close to cocoa.  I added regal rose, rose red, and summer sun.

I used Time well spent and a dollar stamp (for happy birthday), liquid glass on center flowers and on the dots comming from the center.  Popped the flowers on dimensionals and cut the ovals with the coluzzle ruffing the edges with my scissors.

Hello

I wasn't feeling well so I went and sat at my desk.  I had this heart from Always that I had embossed but hadn't used.  So this is what I came up with. CS river rock and black The DP is from K & company:Brookfield  Ribbon and brass brads I just had on hand so I don't know the company.  The hello stamp is a dollar find at LSS.  It is also embossed to match the heart.  The layout is my take on Beate weekend challenge.  I like it.

Well, what do ya think too dark??

Special Delivery

Thought I'd combine 2 challenges in one card today and I can always use a baby card. :) One is from this week’s Rubbernecker Blogger Challenge RBC04 (use light and dark blue, and a rubbernecker stamp) and the other is from SCS try a new technique TLC163 (layer ribbon).  I used SU's CS Blue bayou, soft sky, and whisper white.  The ribbon is soft sky and a no namer blue bayou match.

Afternoon Tea Birthday

Loved to see Laura chosen for featured stamper on SCS. I visit her blog ( Scrapnextras )at least once a day. She always has such beautiful ideas. :) My inspiration came from this card.  My flowers are too big, right?  :(  For the challenge you have to change at least two things and give credit to the featured stamper.

My changes are: DP I used Afternoon Tea,
Stamps: From Me To You CTMH,
I didn't use a tag, and I changed the colors
