Top Note Quilts

Love all the quilt cards I've seen on the net lately.  I first saw them on Di's blog.  I love the papers she used (Bella Birds 113981) and I used them too.  :)  Very pretty!!  I started by cutting 1 1/4 strips of the DSP and then cuttin those into 1 1/4 squares.  Glued those on to a 3 3/4x 5 piece of whisper white.  The top note die (113463) was used to cut it out.  A clear set of stamps (maker unknown) to add the stitching.  The Damask (114512) for the Big Shot (113439) gave it the quilted look after I layered it on a 5 1/4 x 4 piece of CS.   Layer that on your card base and add a thank you with Curly Label Punch bundle (112966) and short & sweet (115060).

I made 10 of these!  I love how you can play with the paper and with a flip you get a totally different look.  :)  Took me a bit longer than I thought but it was fun!  :)  Made these up for the gals who ordered from me this month.  Hope they like them!  :)

Pinkie

I got my inspiration from my daughters PJ's this morning.  The layout I stole from Tessa on SCS.  She does such cute cards.

Anywho...  I used the CS regal rose, pink pirouette, pretty in pink and certainly celery.  The trio flower punch (109183) inked the edges w/ regal rose and added little rhinestones in the middle.  Not sure where I got them.  Micheals maybe?

Lovely Thoughts

Loved the spring colors in Stacey's card here on the left.  The black oval scallop with the bashful blue and regal rose just really caught my eye.  So I made these up for my monthly demo swap.  The Thoughts & Prayers set was a set I had to have!  Once in my studio it sat unloved till now.  :)  It has a great tree and lots of nice sentiments.  I still need to ink up that tree!!  LOL

Hope you like.

These are the little goodie baskets my kiddos got.  I made them up in a hurry the night before.  Thought they were so cute!  The next morning I woke to the stomach flu for my hubby and I.  He was worse than me but this is like the 5th time in a month!  YUCK!!  Anyway the kiddos hunted for their eggs and had a good time.  :)

Vanessa just sent me this way too fun video.  Check it out!  I would have so loved being in on this.  Or seeing it in person.

I have found time to do a little craftin.  This is made from 2 SU scallop enves for the Big Shot.  Trim the bottem tab to a 1/4".  Found this on SCS.  Okay I tracked down the gal I cased after about 40 min.  Jamie Sears did a real cute box and can see it here.  Thanks for stopping by.

Okay so Douglas comes home from work abit earlier than normal last friday and says pack a bag we are leavin.  He asked my parents (who were visiting for the week) to watch the kiddos.  He took me to the Letson Loft Hotel in down town Bisbee.  We had a wonderful dinner at Cafe Roco.  It was great!  So nice to get away.  We spent the next day walking around and enjoying the shops, food and company.  :)  I even found a frog to add to my collection.  LOL  Didn't really get many photos (to busy enjoying myself) but here is one of the safe downstairs (look how thick the door is) and sun room.

These five 3x3 cards fit inside this pink gable box.  This is one of the door prizes I will be giving away at my workshops this weekend.  Hope they like em
