Doin the happy dance

I was chosen as one of the top three for this card!  Thanks ladies!  It was a really fun sketch to play with!  Join the fun every week and be inspired!

Easter bunnies

Some more craftiness I did with my mom.  I stamped everything and had the triangle boxes scored and ready.  We loaded up and while the girls swam at the pool Mom and I made these.  I love em!  So cute!  The ears, nose, and paws are colored with chalk.  They are filled with yummy Jellys.

Paper: Whisper white and Pink Pirouette
Stamps: Bunny Maker (Inky Antics)

Gamsol and Chalk

Mom and Dad came to visit last week and we played a bit with chalk.  She was wanting some simpathy cards and I came up with these.  We colored them with SU chanks and gamsol (orderless mineral spirits).  Gamsol makes the chalk flow and blend.  More like paint.

Paper: Shimmery white, Concord crush, Rose red, So saffron
Stamps: Elements of Style and Thoughts and Prayers

WOW Bright Challenge

For this one I dug up some retired CS!  When I saw this challenge it made me think of those jelly fruit slices and summer.  Fun and bright!  LOL  I like the feeling this card gives but not sure of it in general.  It just doesn't seem quite right.  Oh well they all wont be award winners. :)

Paper:  Yoyo yellow, Gable green, Only orange, and Whisper white
Stamps: Tart & Tangy (SU), Treasure Life, and Friendship word puzzle (CTMH), Polka Dot basics 2 (papertreyink)

Sew Suite

Your not tired of seeing this machine yet, right?  LOL  Think this is my favorite so far.  Well there is the sketch I followed but I cant remember where to find it.  LOL  Ahhha  I found it!  Stamped the measuring tape right on some so saffron ribbon.  I tried Mementos (tuxedo black ink) but it bled through.  Stazon worked better.

Sew sweet

So you thought it would be at least another 8 months before you heard from me again right?  LOL  Today I used the Color challenge CC315  and sketch CAS111 both from Splitcoast Stampers.  The colors are Regal Rose, Pear Pizzazz and So Saffron.  The sentiment is on pear pizzazz but the button is certainly celery.  Love this set though finding a sentiment for it is annoying.  Sew it is hand written and not centered. :)  Oh well like the set anyway.
Thanks for droppin in

Create with Connie and Mary

Sew here is my take on the sketch here.  I am enjoying coloring these cute sewing machines.  I have finally aquired all of the SU markers YEAH!!!  They are so fun to color with.  The buttons are great fun to add as well.
No sentiment this time.  I hate my handwriting.  :)

Teal Kimono

Well I found a color challenge with PTI (Papertrey Ink) colors here and gave it awhirl with SU colors.  Taken with Teal (retied), Cool Caribbean (retired), Pumpkin Pie, and Peach Parfait are my color choices.  I used the SU kimono Kids stamp set and the birthday wishes from Bring on the Cake.  I am happy with the way it turned out. :)
