A few things in May

Here are my cute girls suckin lemons at Schlotzsky's.
I made Aleah's strawberry jumper here too!

It was also Devens Bday.  He is now 14!  He does not like to have his photo taken!  But I managed to get a few that are good.  :)

Love the look on Dads face!  Poor guy he couldn't even have any and its his fav!  He cant stomach milk any more :)
I don't remember what he was laughing
about but I love that I caught it!  :)

Deven and Vanessa are in the cultural event this Saturday in Thatcher.  I am so glad that they get to participate.  I had to make Vanessa's skirt and apron.

And Yes, she died her hair again. :)

Here is another
skirt I made for Aleah.  She didn't want me to take her picture.  hehehe   I used the pattern here.  Very easy to follow.  I made one for Breanna too but she hasn't worn it yet.
And a graduation card I made for my cousin who just finished high school.
I used Basic black, whisper white and retired marigold morning card stock.  Their colors are black and gold and I thought this worked.  :)  I totally cased Jackie Topa's cardVery cute!

Thanks

Sorry for the silence.  My allergies have gone wild.  I don't think I have been hit this hard since we moved here.  Anyway....

I have been sewing
I made my three youngest girls this cute skirt using Molly's pattern over at Me and Madeline.  I really haven't sewed that much but she made these skirts easy.  In about an hour apiece I whipped up my second and third.

After our team meeting last Saturday I came home and put together this cute bag.  I have seen them floating all over the net as the Big Shot rag bag but I liked the more finished look Angie Juda gave it.  You can find a tut over on youtube.  She has a cute ruffle and I added a bow.  I used batting instead of the felt that she calls for only because I didn't have any.  :)  I also added pockets on either end inside.

Then I made these springtime skirt and purse for Aleah.  I got the idea for the skirt while browsing etsy and found this skirt.  So cute!
Says my brain: I think I can put that together using the base instructions from the last skirt.  Didn't go together as easily as I hoped but with a little work it is wearable.  :) (I didn't buy the pattern) LOL  Made the purse using 8 squares in stead of 24 and used one long handle so she can wear it across her.  She loves them both!  Yeah!!  Now to make two more purses for the other girls.  :)

Thanks for stoppin by hope you are having a great weekend

Birthday

Breanna finnally got invited to a birthday party that was not on Sunday!  She was so excited!  We went through my list of cards to case and she chose this one
So this is our take on it.  She colored the cake. She wanted it just like it but I managed to change it up just a bit.  :)  I used the pinking hearts border punch then covered the hearts with the red polka dot piece.  Thanks for stoppin by

And now for the Gum!  There is this whole wall of gum!  It was totally amazing and disgusting but I had to add to it!  :)  LOL
