F4A65 – Opposites Attract …
Wanted to get some more use out of my cupcake punch and stamps. Haven't used Concord Crush much at all. It is so pretty! I love it! So glad we get another year out of it! Need to use it some more. :)
Anyway, this is for Split Coast Stampers challenge. It was an interesting challenge and wanted to give it a try. I like these cards. They make me smile. After making the first (one without the white border) I decided the purple needed a bit of something. So I trimmed it down and ran it through with the swiss dot folder. I think that finished it off just right. :)
So which do you like best. LOL
Think this is my favorite.

New Baby FS224
This week's featured stamper is Carly, aka PaperInBloom. Check out her gallery here! Go can to her gallery and CASE a card or two, following the guidelines:
1. Change 2 or more things on the card. It could be a color combo, embellishments, backgrounds, or even the main image could be different -- but similar because you don't own the exact image. List the changes in your description. 2. Give credit to the original stamper. Put a link to the original card in your description.
I changed the stamps and color. Liked her card layout and bow with button and twine. Now I need to make a few boy ones. :) I loved looking through her gallery. She has such a clean design; it is pretty and easy on the eyes. I may try a few more. :)
Stamps: SU-fun & fast notes and PaperTreys-polka dot basics 2

A Blushing Cupcake
These colors are so pretty together! I sat looking at them but with no idea what to do with them. LOL I hadn't used this cupcake set yet. So, here is my first try.
I used a 2-way glue pen on the sprinkles stamp then added the glitter. :)
I used the decorative label punch behind wish big. You can find a how-to video by Mary Fish here. Isn't that cool! Try using the other side of the punch as well.

Summer Splash
This was so fun to create. I made this for the Cards for Men Challenge 11 - No Paper. No designer paper that is. :) And CS141.
I had just seen this technique and thought I would try it. Okay, So I took a piece of whisper white and sponged it with tempting turquoise then edged it with the pacific point. Then I wet my right hand and flicked the paper. That creates the water spots. :) Used wild wasabi then old olive and ran it through the Big Shot for the strip. The color on the octopus was add when I thoughtlessly layed it down to add the glue. So, to fix it I spritzed the ink on the mat and lightly dabbed the octopus in it. Turned out really fun I think.
Happy Tuesday!
The octopus is heat embossed with wild wasabi embossing powder.
Stamps: Summer Splash, All Holidays
Ink: tempting turquoise, pacific point, old olive, wild wasabi & black
Paper: whisper white and old olive
Accessories: Nestabilities, spots and dots folder
